and conventional cargo transportation & logistics services by marine, air, rail and road transport. In March 1999, for business prospects Nilja Shipping shifted it's registered & corporate office from Calcutta to Chennai. Nilja Shipping is having business associates in all major ports and places in India and globally.
In line with the aims & objectives of the company, over the short period, in the year 2000, Nilja Shipping achieved recognition to carry on the business as a 'Multimodal Transport Operator'. The MTO Certificate was issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Surface Transport, Government of India.
